The patients we can handle

A one-stop shop for all your geriatric care and grooming needs, in house

Many families come to us after being told their loved one’s needs are too complex. These are the types of patients we deal with every day.

Physical limitations

  • Mobility challenges: Hoyer lifts, slide boards, walkers, wheelchairs and canes
  • Patients who are bedridden or non-ambulatory, at end of life, or who need a two- or three-person assist
  • Help with all activities of daily living: medication management, bathing, toileting, grooming, total puree or mechanical feeding and hydration
  • Palliative, end-of-life and hospice care
  • Safety devices: seat belts, harnesses, bed rails, fall mats and bed alarms

Behavioral challenges

  • Psychiatric drug stabilization or modification
  • Physician-supervised detoxification and medication adjustment
  • Patients who pose a danger to themselves or others, including combative and antisocial behaviors

Clinical and nursing care

  • PEG tube feeding, puree diets, colostomy bags, nephrostomy tubes, suprapubic catheters and insulin dependence
  • Assistance with breathing issues: oxygen, breathing and nebulizer treatments
  • Bowel and urinary incontinence, including all catheters and external devices
